Goettl air conditioning company CEO, Ken Goodrich, recently announced that his company had acquired a family-owned HVAC company, Walton Heating and Air Company. According to Ken Goodrich, the acquisition was in line with their expansion plan and it could help Goettl to solidify its presence in California. So far, Goettl has four offices in Phoenix, Tucson, and Las Vegas.

Goettl showed their first interest in acquiring Walton Heating and Air Company in 2015 but Longbrake, then the CEO of Walton, was reluctant. He later accepted to seal the deal after he was encouraged to work with Ken Goodrich by personnel in the HVAC industry. The acquisition process was finalized in mid 2015 though the financial details of the deal remain unknown. Todd Longbrake in a recent interview revealed that he had no regrets so far. He expressed confidence that Goettl was headed in the right direction and that the company had significantly grown.

Ken Goodrich during a recent interview revealed that after the acquisition of HVCA by Goettl, Todd immediately became part of the management team where he was named the sales and field manager. Mr. Goodrich further revealed that he delayed from letting the public know about the acquisition plan due to operational challenges Walton was facing at the time. Ken intended to have all the operational challenges sorted before giving Walton Heating and Air Company the Goettl badge.

Mr. Goodrich said that he planned to acquire Walton company because it shared the same values as his. He further noted that although Walton Company was in a stagnant state when he was acquiring it, he believed that it had the potential for growth.
